Hochschild Cohomology, BV operators and twisted tensor products

Hochschild (Co)homology is the natural (co)homology theory for associative algebras. Hochschild Cohomology further encompasses string topology in a natural sense, which admits a degree 1 operator expressing the natural S^1 action on strings, known as the BV operator. It is natural to ask in what circumstances a BV operator exists on Hochschild Cohomology, and what properties it admits. In particular, Hochschild Cohomology interacts nicely with tensor products; the talk discusses the interaction of these operations.
